Dan: Written to give the album the sense of a mystical, beautiful core. We ended up keeping the original dodgy cassette recording of the piano, added woodland sound effects, backwards tape echo effects, eerie 30's strings, and finally a spooky layer of multi-tracked Sophies (to represent woodland sprites whizzing through the trees). The piece of music is the soundtrack to the album sleeve artwork. For muso spods: it's time signature is 10/8. Imagine that.
